The session began with the introduction of Adv. Mohit Vyas, a distinguished advocate with extensive experience in civil litigation. Faculty-in-charge, Ms. Divya Salim, felicitated him with a copy of the Constitution to set the tone for the insightful discussion.
Advocate Vyas provided a comprehensive overview of the CPC, addressing its complexities and misconceptions. He detailed the process of filing civil suits, including types like suits for declaration, possession, and recovery of money.
Throughout the session, he highlighted essential laws like the Court Fees Act, 1870, Specific Relief Act, 1963 and Limitation Act, 1963 and shared practical examples of injunctions, cross-examination techniques, and cause of action.

Shri Shrey Raj Saxena is the youngest Deputy Advocate General appointed to the Madhya Pradesh High Court. He graduated with a degree in law from the esteemed ILS, Pune in 2012 and subsequently pursued Company Secretary qualifications in the same year.
Adv. Saxena began his career with Tier-I law firms, including Trilegal, where he honed his skills in various legal domains. Driven by a passion for litigation, he returned to Madhya Pradesh to practice as a litigating lawyer. Over the years, his expertise has expanded across multiple areas of law, including contract, environmental, white-collar, corporate law, and arbitration.
At just 31 years of age, Adv. Saxena has also distinguished himself as a Co-arbitrator in numerous commercial matters, collaborating with the Hon’ble Justice Alok Verma (Retd.). His impressive trajectory and dedication to the legal profession make him a prominent figure in the field.
